THE MORNING I SAW HIM — I REPENTED OF MY IDOLATRY

I thought I was worshiping…but then I saw the Lamb.

In a moment, heaven opened, and I realized my allegiance had drifted from Jesus Himself.

The drums and voices suddenly faded I saw Him—the Lamb of God, “standing as though He had been slain” (Rev 5).

The sight pierced me to the core. I immediately began to groan and weep, I repented, not for some blatant sin, but because in years of ministry my allegiance had drifted.

I wept aloud: “I repent of idolatry. I pledge my allegiance to Jesus…to the Lamb!”

In His throne room, I realized how easily we trade holy obedience to Him for the fear of man—serving boards, leaders, and the western church machine instead of the Lord of the house.

I wept as I began to understand I too was more submissive to church systems than to the King of Kings.

I love the Church—she is His Bride.

But the Bride belongs to the Bridegroom.

    He wants His Bride back.

He wants HIS messengers on the field.

He is shaking us to the core.

We must open our hands and give Him our full gaze. One day we’ll stand before Jesus—not a denomination, not a platform. Titles, applause, and excuses will burn away, and only obedience to the Lamb will matter.

Let us love His Church but fix our eyes on the throne. Whatever it costs, let’s pledge our allegiance to the Lamb who was slain.
